LET’S MAKE 1 HOUR A DAY COUNT (TOGETHER!)
It’s a WEIRD time. Many of us have a TON of time on our hands at home. Our jobs either don’t exist right now, or we are working from home (many for the first time and with zero practice). And yet despite having all this time, I have personally felt myself to be incredibly distracted. Have you?
I’m always talking about things I wish I had more time for, and now I actually have it. And yet I’ve been finding it difficult to focus and actually get myself to do those things.
I don’t know about you, but I hate the idea of getting to the end of this period at home with nothing meaningful to show for it. I’m not just talking about work, but skills I want to learn, books I want to read…all those wonderful things we never normally get to do, and now we can. So I’m hitting reset for myself...
Starting Thursday, March 19th at 10am PT/1pm ET/5pm GMT, I’m inviting you to join me for a 1-hour mass focus session, where we will all be ‘accountability buddies’ for each other in doing something worthwhile for an hour.
I’ll be running these focus sessions every day, at the same time, for the next 7 days.
There is NO charge for this. I just want us all to come together and make this time count.
I’m not going to be doing a lot of talking, it’s going to be us focusing on our individual tasks! I’ll say hi, and we can have some fun interaction, but don’t be weirded out if for a lot of the session you see me sitting there just working. That’s the point! When you see me there doing it, you will too.
Bring whatever task or activity you’ve been procrastinating. Or just whatever would make you feel great to have spent an hour on. Once we’ve accomplished this hour together, we can go about the rest of the day knowing that despite all the noise and craziness out there, we made the day count.
